Problem
Why So Many Students Fall Behind
Why So Many Students Fall Behind
Schools Don’t Teach Mastery
Schools rush through topics to finish the curriculum instead of exam mastery, leaving gaps that quietly grow each term and inevitably surface during mocks, undermining confidence.
Parents Are Left In The Dark
Exam formats, content, and grade boundaries keep changing. Teachers try to adapt, but parents are left out of the loop - what once worked is now outdated, leaving even proactive parents unsure how to truly help.
Tests Shape Futures Too Early
One bad run and your child drops a set to a slower class, meaning even more unfinished content, yet the exact same exam - and in the worst case, the Foundation Tier. It’s unfair and completely out of your control.
No Direction. No Confidence.
The sheer volume of GCSE content feels endless. It’s their first real academic mountain, and most students don’t know where to start. Without structure, they lose direction fast. Confidence drops and motivation fades.
4-Step System
The Higher Tier Mastery™ System
When students join GCSE Accelerator, our 4-step Higher Tier Mastery™ System takes them from Grade 5 to 8/9 - one light bulb moment at a time.
Core Mastery
We start by rebuilding and mastering the basics they never fully secured at school, filling the knowledge gaps and finally understanding the “why” behind each topic.

Consistency Engine
Multiple live tutor touchpoints each week build steady study habits and lasting progress, breaking the cycle of learning key ideas, then forgetting them weeks later.

Strategic Mindset
Students learn to read questions like examiners, spotting clear cues that guide them step by step to the right method and confident decisions before pen hits paper.

Exam Mastery
We source the toughest past exam questions and practice them under timed conditions to build exam speed, accuracy, and composure. With feedback and repetition, every paper becomes a well-rehearsed performance so when it matters most, they are ready.

FAQs
Everything parents ask before joining
How does the programme work?
Our structured programme includes multiple live weekly lessons, exam-focused resources, lesson recordings, inidividual support and ongoing guidance throughout the academic year, helping students stay on track all the way through to their GCSE exams.
What subjects are included?
We currently offer specialist GCSE Higher Maths and Science programmes, each following a structured curriculum designed specifically for Year 11 students (we do accept Year 10 students after the Easter period).
Which exam boards do you cover?
We teach content that applies across all major UK exam boards: Edexcel, AQA, OCR and IGCSE. The core content is very similar across boards, and where there are differences, we cover exam-board-specific topics and approaches so students are fully prepared for their own specification.
Do you teach Foundation or Higher?
Our programme is designed exclusively for Higher Tier students, allowing us to focus on helping students achieve Grades 7–9 by covering the full Higher specification in depth.
Is it group tuition or one-to-one?
Our programme has two parts that work together.
Group teaching gives students the structure. We teach the syllabus in a clear order, one topic building on the next, so they're never jumping around or guessing what to do. We start with the topics that carry the most marks in the actual exam, so their time goes where it counts, and we build their confidence and grade faster. They always know where they are and what's coming next.
Individual support is what we call our Q&A sessions, and this is where a lot of the progress happens. Students come to these through the week and bring whatever they've been stuck on, even things they've hit on their own at home or at school. They show us their working, we see exactly where it's going wrong, and we help them fix it. And because the whole session is built around their questions, a quieter child who wouldn't put their hand up in a full class still gets their problem sorted.

How do you support my child individually?
Through our Q&A sessions. These run multiple times through the week, and your child brings whatever they've been stuck on, even things they've hit on their own at home or at school. They show us their working, we see exactly where it's going wrong, and we help them fix it. Because the session is built around their questions, your child gets help on their specific gaps, not a one-size-fits-all lesson. And a quieter child who wouldn't put their hand up in a full class still gets their problem sorted.
They can also message our tutors directly on the platform, so if they get stuck between sessions, they don't have to wait. They can send a question, or a photo of their working to be checked

How is this different from a private tutor?
A private tutor usually works hourly, on whatever topic your child brings that day. That can help in the moment, but there's often no bigger plan, and it's easy to keep circling the same comfortable topics while the gaps sit untouched.
We work the other way round. Your child follows one clear route through the whole Higher course, in an order built to raise their grade, so nothing important gets missed. They still get individual help through our Q&A sessions and by messaging our tutors, so they're not losing the personal support a tutor gives. They're getting that on top of a proper plan.
Most parents come to us after a tutor didn't quite deliver. The lessons were fine, but the structure and the steady push weren't there. That's the part we're built around.

Can students ask questions outside of lessons?
Yes. Students can ask questions during lessons and attend our inidividual support sessions for additional support whenever they need extra help. They can also ask us questions via direct message on our platform outside of class times.
How much does the programme cost?
Most families invest from £1,200. We go through the exact pricing for your child in the Information Session, so we can explain what's included before you decide.
Can I pay in instalments?
Yes, absolutely. You can pay in full, or split it into two or three instalments to spread the cost. We'll go through the details in the Information Session.
What is your refund policy?
As students receive immediate access to our programme content and downloadable resources upon enrolment, we don't offer refunds once access has been granted.
Before joining, parents and students can watch our sample lessons in our sample library and see exactly how our classes work, so you can feel sure it's right for your child before you decide.

How do we join?
Book a free Information Session. We'll explain how the programme works and answer any questions you have. If it's the right fit for your child, you can enrol straight afterwards.
What if my child misses a class?
All lessons are recorded and uploaded the next day.
If your child misses a session, they can watch the full recording, use one of the weekly individual support drop-in sessions to get clarification, and even attend the same lesson again in a future cohort. This means they never miss out and can stay fully on track.

How much can students improve?
We're honest that we don't promise grades. What we can say is that students who engage fully, through the lessons, recordings, homework and individual support sessions, typically improve by 2-3 grades.
You can read parents describing exactly that in our reviews. The students who see the most progress are the ones who show up and use the support that's there, because the programme is built for students who want to put the work in.

My child lacks confidence. Is this programme still suitable?
Yes. A lot of students join us feeling behind or unsure where to start. The programme is built to help there.
Lessons follow a clear order so nothing feels overwhelming, and our separate individual support sessions let your child ask about whatever they're stuck on without having to speak up in front of a full class. As they start getting things right, the confidence follows. That's usually the part parents notice first.
